What you control.
Notifications
Off until you turn them on, device by device. Quiet hours are on by default and “Show details” is off by default.
Cycle
Off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off any time.
Share cards
Every stat on or off, and names and dates on or off.
Who’s in
A space holds exactly two people, and a code works for one person.
What you share
Every field is optional, and “Not shared yet” is a normal state.
How we handle your data.
Ads
The app shows no ads and has no ad or analytics trackers.
Selling data
We don’t.
Messages
Nothing from us appears inside your space.
Scores
Intimate doesn’t score your relationship.
Analytics
Nothing you write inside the app goes to analytics tools.
What we can’t protect against.
Not end-to-end encrypted
Your data is protected by your login, by rules that keep each couple’s data separate and by encrypted connections. It isn’t end-to-end encrypted, which means the people who run Intimate can technically get into the database.
Connection numbers
The number you give a connection is never shown to your person in the app. It’s stored with the connection, though, and your person’s account can technically read that row. Your Log is locked to you at the database level.
Your devices
Anyone who can unlock your phone and open Intimate can see your space, so use a passcode. You can rename the Home Screen icon when you add it.
Your person
They see what you put in, and Intimate can’t stop a screenshot.
Medical advice
Forecasts and cycle predictions are a guide only.
Where your data is stored.
The app runs on Vercel. The database runs on Supabase, with row-level security that limits each row to its couple. We’ll name the region here once it’s final.

Leaving, deleting and exporting your data.
Today you can’t delete your account, leave a space or export your data from inside the app. We know that’s a gap. Until it’s built, email hello@getintimate.app and we’ll delete your data.
