Casual

Hey, I’ve been trying a little app for the two of us. It’s private, just you and me, and it takes a few seconds a day. Want to try it? Go to https://getintimate.app/join, sign up and tap “I have a code”. Code: {CODE}

Playful

I’ve signed us up for something. It’s a tiny private app where we tell each other what we’d love today, and “Not today” is an official answer, so you can say it to me too. https://getintimate.app/join, then “I have a code”. Code: {CODE}

Serious

There’s something I’d like us to try, and it matters to me. It’s a private app where we share how we’re doing and ask for what we’d love. Nothing is required and you can stop any time. Happy to talk it through first if you have questions. https://getintimate.app/join. Code: {CODE}

For someone shy

This is a bit hard for me to say, which is partly why I’m sending an app. It lets me tell you what I’d love in a few words, and you can answer however you like. Only you and I can see it. If you’d rather talk first, that’s fine. https://getintimate.app/join. Code: {CODE}

Replace {CODE} with the six characters from Home or Profile before you send.

What will my partner see?

Your person sees what you put into your check-in: mood, energy, capacity and in the mood, what you’d love today, anything you share, sleep, engagement and habits, the needs you ask for and how you answer theirs, and which connection points you tick. If you turn on cycle tracking they see your phase and heads-ups. They can’t see your Log, which only its author can read, or the number you give each connection point, though a bolder thread on the shared map reflects it. Those two are hidden by the app, and the Log is also locked to you in the database, while the connection number sits on a record their account could technically read. Intimate isn’t end-to-end encrypted, so the people who run it can technically get into the database. Nothing reaches your person until you enter it, and every field is optional.
