Get Intimate on your phone.
Intimate is live. It’s a web app, so you add it to your Home Screen instead of downloading it from a store. It takes about a minute, and then it opens full-screen like any other app.
Looks like you’re on your Home Screen. Open Intimate and create your account.

Gentle
I found something for the two of us. It’s a small private space where we share how our days are going and ask for things gently. We can use it whenever we like, and only the two of us can see it. Have a look? https://getintimate.app/join
Playful
I’ve been looking at an app that lets us tell each other what we’d love without having to say it out loud. Apparently “Not today” is a perfectly good answer. https://getintimate.app/join

Try this with me? It’s just for the two of us. https://getintimate.app/join
What couples say.
These are sample quotes, written to show the layout of this section. They will be replaced with real quotes from couples who use Intimate.
After ten years we mostly just asked each other if we were fine. My morning check-in takes about ten seconds, and Tom reads it with his coffee. I like seeing his mood on my screen too.
Ben works two weeks on and one week off up north, and I’m in Auckland most of the month. I look at his card on my lunch break to see whether he has the energy for a phone call.
We use the sleep slider more than anything else. When Fatima logs four hours of sleep, I take the first feed, and we don’t need to discuss it at 3am.
I find it hard to ask for things. Writing three words and picking a time is much easier for me. Marcus said yes to ‘Slow massage’ and added a short note, which I read several times.
Nina works rotating shifts and I work nine to five, so we don’t see much of each other during the week. We use ‘Today I’d love’ to tell each other what we’d like when we’re apart, and we both use it most days.
Sophie answered ‘Not today’ with a note: ‘rubbish week, ask me Friday’. I asked again on Friday. The note made the answer easier to hear.
Hana turned on cycle tracking, so I get a heads-up the day before her period. I mostly use it to plan dinner on those days.
We each tick our own list at night and look at it on Sunday. I mostly tick ‘Walk together’ and ‘Phone-free time’, and Omar mostly ticks ‘Helped out’ and ‘Meal together’. It was interesting to see how different our lists are.
Why isn’t it in the App Store?
Intimate is live as a web app, so you add it to your Home Screen yourself. There’s no App Store or Google Play listing yet, and nothing to download or update.
Will notifications work?
Yes, once Intimate is on your Home Screen (on iPhone) and you’ve turned them on in Profile. They’re quiet by default.
Can I remove it?
Yes: press and hold the icon, as with any app. Your data stays until you delete it.
